860 km signposted mountain bike trails -
30 different routes
Pushing down powerfully on the pedals and so discovering the unforgettable landscape of Montafon - this is unadulterated pleasure for all those who are athletically inclined. In 2003 all the mountain bike routes in Montafon were freshly signposted and brought together in a handy biking guide.
The 860 km of mountain bike tours range from easy cycle paths to the steepest pack trails, with something to suit every level of biker. More than 600 signposts clearly mark the different routes and guarantee total biking pleasure. (Blue routes are for beginners, red for more advanced riders and black for the most difficult stretches, possibly containing portage sections.)
Tour tip
From Gaschurn "Mountain Beach" (c. 150 m from Holiday Appartements) - along the Valschavieltal valley to the foot of the Gaschurner Winterjöchle (turning-round point) - back through the Valschavieltal to the Mountain Beach swimming pool in Gaschurn. (18 km / 870 elevation gain / c. 2.5 hrs)
